Camping info
PLEASE NOTE!
The space we’re using is an open field with little to no natural shade.
We will have a large events tent for shade, a slip’n’slide to cool down, and we’re 10 minutes walk from the beach.
If you’re extremely sensitive to sun, we recommend bringing your own shade tent, a UV umbrella, and plenty of sunscreen!
WHAT IS COVERED
Your Camping Package covers camping per person and the program for the whole weekend, including Saturday dinner, tea party AND Sunday breakfast.
Group-style camping spots will be on a first come basis, with a separate area for RVs. Please note that the camping area does not have power or water hookups. Please indicate the total number of RVs and/or tents in your party.
CANCELLATIONS
We regret that refunds will not be possible, but you may transfer your registration to someone else. Please e-mail us at gabriolacampout@gmail.com
Campout Rules
● No Smoking outside designated area
Gabriola in July is very dry and at high risk of burning!
Please protect our island and smoke only in the designated area.
This rule will be strictly enforced with ZERO TOLERANCE…
Violations will result in IMMEDIATE EVICTION!
● No Dogs
Please leave your dogs at home or with a loved one!
No matter how well behaved your dog is, this is a working farm with livestock that will be impacted by their presence. No dogs will be permitted on the property (except Certified Service Dogs.)
● No Propane or Wood Firepits
We will provide a centralized propane fire in a safe location.
What to Bring
Tent or RV, food*, dishes, cups and cutlery, chairs, water toys and floaties, kayaks, paddle boards (for floating meeting), games, barbecues, camp stoves (summer fire ban on Gabriola).
Bring a funny hat for the tea party.
There is a good grocery store and hardware on Gabriola, so you can also buy supplies here. Check out Gabriola Tourism for information about local merchants.
Saturday dinner & Sunday breakfast will be provided for Camping Packages… other meals are your own responsibility!
